Job description

 

Choice House offers three different treatment programs for those seeking recovery from substance abuse/dependency. Three programs on a singular mission: to provide a nurturing and supportive living environment that enhances the continuum of care necessary to achieve long-term, recovery.

Choice house has multiple residential locations and one commercial location spanning through Louisville & Boulder. The maintenance technician will spend their time between all locations providing basic handyman work as well as grounds keeping with seasonal snow/leaf removal.

The Maintenance Technician provides building maintenance and repair services for a variety of different functions to include: Changing out light bulbs, fixing/changing flush valves on toilets, fix leaking toilets, paint repair, drywall repair, replace locks/doorknobs, air conditioners, some equipment repair (Vacuums, extension cords, etc.) as well as completing and staying on top of weekly checklists for all locations basic safety/cleanliness needs.

Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable means for transportation
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Prior building/property maintenance experience, have own tools
  • Must be willing to consent to/pass a drug and background screen to include marijuana
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand while moving around for duration of shift
  • Desire to be a part of something larger than yourself
  • Attention to detail
