Job description

 Construction Project Manager


About Us: 
Island Pump and Tank, a subsidiary of Noble Fueling Solutions, is a trusted leader in building and servicing gas stations, delivering innovative solutions with a strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, and client satisfaction. 

Summary:

  • Oversee construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety. 


Responsibilities:

  • Completes Submittal packages. 
  • Obtains local, State Permits as needed.
  • Prepares & submits monthly AIA Billings to Customer and billing Team.
  • Oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion.

  • Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.

  • Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents/scope. 

  • Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders. 

  • Travel to out-of-town job sites as needed.

  • Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices and submittals.

  • Attend client meetings as needed. 

  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on schedule.

  • Provides QC checks while onsite.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.

  • Prior retail and commercial petroleum construction experience is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.

  • Professional demeanor in providing the highest level of customer service in-person and over the phone.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Etc.) and Microsoft Project.

  • Construction Superintendent License is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Positive attitude and strong leadership qualities.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and effective communication skills with both field and office employees.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
