Description

We are currently seeking a Building Performance Specialist to join our dynamic team in any of our 5 studios. The ideal candidate will have an architectural degree and 3+ yearsโ€™ experience. Our open studio environment and collaborative approach to architecture requires that you work well with others and consistently build strong relationships with teammates and clients.

The right person for our studio will have expertise in sustainable high-performance design. The specialist will work closely with the Performance Director and project teams across all studios to support integration of high-performance design strategies into projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of analyses and research, including but not limited to embodied carbon, whole-building life cycle assessments, daylight analyses, sustainable material reviews and specifications, envelope performance, and AIA 2030 reporting.
Qualifications
  • Professional degree in architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience in sustainable high-performance design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
  • Industry sustainability accreditations preferred (LEED, WELL, ILFI, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of building performance simulation software/platforms, including Rhino with Climate Studio & Grasshopper and Whole-Building LCA software such as OneClick LCA and/or Tally.
