Job description

Merchandising Specialist (Merchandiser)
Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on location & experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time (Minimum 40 hours/week)
Travel: 100% Travel within assigned territory
Work Type: Remote / Field-Based
Territory:15 stores in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area. Areas are to include Waveland, Gulfport, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Gautier, Pascagoula, Hattiesburg, and Petal, MS. Area will also include Mobile, AL area.

Work Schedule & Expectations
PLEASE NOTE: This position requires 40 hours per week with occasional overtime mandated. Each day, Monday-Friday, will require 8 hours per shift and 100% travel within your region of control. Daily shifts will consist of 2-3 store visits assigned to you, which you will drive to. You will be provided with a company truck and gas card, but pending arrival you may temporarily have to drive your own vehicle.
  • Full-time: Minimum 40 hours/week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday only
  • Flexible Start Times: 5:00AM - 9:00AM
  • Flexible End Times: 1:30PM - 7:00PM (based on start time)
  • No weekends required

Role Responsibilities
  • Merchandise fasteners and related products in assigned home improvement retail stores
  • Down-stock products from overhead to sales floor locations
  • Maintain planogram layouts and signage
  • Ensure product visibility and accuracy
  • Train store employees on product knowledge
  • Occasionally participate in customer events, demo's and more
  • Complete and submit weekly inventory reporting
  • Organize warehouse inventory for accessibility
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and PrimeSource
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards in the field

Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
  • Full down-stocking of products from overheads to sales floor shelves and cross-merchandise locations throughout warehouse retail stores
  • Monitor customer warehouse inventory levels and submit comprehensive weekly inventory reports
  • Collaborate with customers, associates, and merchandising teams to create attractive sales floor displays
  • Ensure products are down-stocked, prominently displayed, and accurately inventoried
  • Act as liaison between customers and PrimeSource by addressing issues and providing solutions
  • Assist customers in organizing warehouse inventory for accessibility
  • Stock sales floor shelves for customers requesting additional inventory support

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance (required)
  • Experience in big-box retail (preferred but not required)
  • Hardware/building materials knowledge (preferred)
  • Ability to work safely in a retail construction environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise from overhead
  • Must reside within supported territory
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
