Job Description

The Allocation Planner will be responsible for allocating inventory of finished goods to customers across North America in a customer centric manner.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Allocating inventory to customer orders to ensure on time delivery of products.

  • Working closely with the customer supply chain team to proactively prioritize customer requirements.

  • Collaborating with plants and production planners to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.

  • Monitoring inventory levels at various plants and escalating any shortages to the production planning team and the customer supply chain team

  • Communicating with the customer supply chain team about any foreseeable delays in orders being fulfilled and shipped on time.

  • Managing KPIS related to on time fulfillment.

  • Ensuring that open orders are accurately entered and meet the minimum requirements in terms of load weight, pallet count etc.

  • Collaborate with the logistics teams to ensure that orders are dispatched in a timely manner.

  • Closely adhere to customer operations processes to improve customer experiences and meet established KPIS.

  • Manage and review open order reports for various plants and monitor reasons for orders not shipping on time.

  • Partner with teams in weekly meetings to share best practices and work on special projects.

  • Collaborate with Sales for process improvement and guideline adherence.

  • Analyze Power BI reports and provide insights.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Operations/ Inventory Management or Supply Chain is preferred.

  • Possess superior analytical, teamwork, and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer satisfaction focus and excellent relationship building skills.

  • Use of MS office, especially MS Excel at an advanced level is required. Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.

  • Experience with JD Edwards and Salesforce is an asset.

  • Strong open and interactive communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to problem solve and "think outside the box."

  • Ability to manage a large volume of emails and phone calls.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.

  • Very good attention to detail
