Job Description Overview
The Inside Commercial Sales person will sell products and services offered by MARVIN'S to current and new clientele. This position is responsible for creating positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Create materials list/estimates.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Responsible for being in the store 4 ยฝ days a week with half a day visiting job sites.

Qualifications
  • Must have building construction and product knowledge experience.
  • Be able to read blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Create material estimates.
  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
