The Senior Analyst, Project Management, Building Controls, plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating projects related to building management systems and mechanical systems. This position requires expertise in data analysis, root cause evaluation, and business process optimization to ensure effective facility management. The role involves managing project documentation and aligning business requirements with technical solutions to support operational excellence. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of building control initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and meet organizational objectives.

The Digital Enablement team ensures precise asset onboarding, standardization, and monitoring by maintaining high-quality asset data that supports business and technology partners. Collaborating across functions, the team enhances building performance and controls through expertise in building management systems, HVAC/R, and project management. Focused on continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving, team members communicate clearly to meet organizational goals. Upholding integrity, accountability, and excellence, the team delivers sustainable solutions that improve operational efficiency and support Walmart’s commitment to innovation and value creation.
What you'll do:
  • Lead project management activities for building controls, ensuring alignment with business requirements and facility management objectives.
  • Analyze data from building management systems to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to track progress and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Respond to operational issues by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions across energy systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop processes that meet business needs and support compliance with company policies.

  • Strong knowledge of building control systems, automation, and building management systems.
  • Proven experience in project management within building controls or facility management environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis to support decision-making.
  • Experience analyzing complex operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements and improving business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive operational efficiency.
  • Skilled in collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project success.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
