Job description

Building Maintenance Technician
Join a fast-paced team with a respected employer that values customer service, safety, and quality workmanship. This first shift opportunity offers competitive pay and the potential to become a permanent member of the team.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (Flexible Start Time Available)
Pay: $30.00-$33.00/hour upon permanent hire
Position Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Overtime: Available, with occasional on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
-Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
-Conduct daily site walkthroughs, review work orders, and communicate with customers to ensure timely service.
-Inspect facilities for safety concerns and complete maintenance tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
-Coordinate with contractors, maintain maintenance records, and manage repair tools and supply inventory.
Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of building maintenance or related facilities maintenance experience.
-Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
-Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently using hand and power tools.
-Strong customer service, communication, and safety awareness with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-HVAC experience or certification is a plus; no license is required.
-Experience working in commercial, industrial, or multi-site facility environments.
