Job description

As a Maintenance Technician, you must possess great customer service skills, a high level of professionalism, dependability and have a positive attitude even during the busiest of times. And, while the entire club team plays a role in the cleanliness of our club, it's our Maintenance Team who takes the lead on executing all things related to building maintenance. We are looking for candidates who are proficient at multitasking and work well in a high energy atmosphere.

Core Purpose:ย To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.

Expectations and Duties:

  • Oversee 4-6 clubs.
  • Provide support for projects as needed.
  • Provide onsite management for vendors as needed.
  • Support in large equipment repairs when two technicians are needed.
  • Provide coverage as needed when there are vacancies or PTOs.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building systems.
  • Expert in all functions and systems of the fitness facility.
  • Manages and closes OpenWrench tickets.
  • Manages maintaining a clean and organized inventory.

Completes trouble shooting and basic repairs not requiring trade licenses such as:

  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Light fixtures
  • Bulb replacement
  • Sheet rock
  • Painting touch ups
  • Wall finishes
  • Flooring
  • Trim
  • Door handles
  • Millwork
  • Pool mechanics
  • All other basic fixtures
  • HVAC units, sensors, and t-stats
  • AV systems/TVs

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years basic trade experience
  • 3-5 years building maintenance experience (all systems)
  • 3 years fitness facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must maintain local, State or Federal personal vehicle insurance minimums, whichever is greater.
  • Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.

This role requires use of your personal vehicle for business mileage. All persons who use their personal vehicle for business mileage must carry a valid driver's license and personal car insurance coverage in accordance with local and federal regulations. All expected and approved business miles are considered reimbursable and may be untaxed in accordance with IRS regulations.
