Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance duties, including changing HVAC filters, inspecting fire safety systems, and performing minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

  • Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly and ensure all maintenance equipment is functioning properly.

  • Inspect, clean, and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and property facilities, including painting, trash pickup, and cleaning laundry washers, dryers, and vending machines.


Job description

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician II.
What will you be doing most days?
  • Wear provided brand-standard uniform, identification, required footwear, and protective equipment to prevent injury
  • Adhere to all safety and security guidelines regarding equipment safety, guest safety, and safe chemical handling
  • Change HVAC filters and preform minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Ensure fire life safety systems are functioning and operational
  • Perform a wide variety of preventative maintenance duties
  • Inspect and clean up in rooms after working in them and ensures they are in adherence with company standards
  • Pick trash throughout the property
  • Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly functioning and maintained
  • Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance emergencies
  • Paint walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed
  • Ensure guest laundry washers, dryers, vending machines, and common areas are cleaned twice daily

What are the requirements for this position?
โ€ข You have FSD Certification or are capable of completing the company sponsored certification requirements within the first 6-8 months of employment
โ€ข You have the ability to take a company sponsored Pool Operator class and pass the accompanying exam
โ€ข You are currently working as a Building Maintenance Technician I for at least 1 year or have at least 1-2 years' experience in a related field
โ€ข You possess a general knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures
โ€ข You can work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment
โ€ข You have strong time management capabilities and can accomplish quality, detailed work within established parameters
โ€ข You have customer service skills and are able anticipate guest needs, greet and acknowledge guests, and respond to guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction
โ€ข You have an action orientation and can deliver the desired outcome
Physical Requirements for this Position
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
