Ensure the quality of products and processes through meticulous inspection and adherence to established standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality control plans.
  • Utilize various measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) accurately and effectively
  • Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including daily logs, defect reports, and test results.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures
  • Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and inspection criteria.
  • Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
  • Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
