Warehouse Assistant / Driver Trainee
Company Overview
Accent Millwork & Supply is a leading distributor of moldings and millwork serving customers throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Since 1992, we have provided high-quality interior building products, including doors, composite materials, stair parts, trim, and custom products from our on-site door shop.
Position Summary
Accent Millwork & Supply is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant who is willing and interested in being trained for a future driver position.
The successful candidate will assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, pulling, loading, and unloading materials. As training progresses, the employee will also assist with local deliveries using company box trucks or vans.
A Commercial Driver’s License is not required; however, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials.
  • Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload millwork, cabinetry, doors, stair parts, and other building materials.
  • Verify products and quantities before orders leave the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report damaged or missing materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures when handling and transporting products.
  • Learn company delivery routes, procedures, and required documentation.
  • Assist with local deliveries as assigned.
  • Safely operate company box trucks and vans after completing required training.
  • Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers.
  • Complete delivery records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
