Join Our Team as a Field Supervisor - Building Manager!

Cleantech is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Field Supervisor - Building Manager to join our Operations team.

In this role, you will provide temporary coverage for Building Managers across multiple residential properties when they are away due to vacation, illness, training, or other operational needs. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to quickly become familiar with different buildings, residents, and property procedures.

As a Field Supervisor - Building Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent resident relations, overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, coordinating maintenance and contractors, and ensuring buildings are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents, property managers, strata councils, and vendors.
  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned residential buildings while ensuring company and client standards are met.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and housekeeping concerns, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, trades, and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Report maintenance issues and assist with scheduling repairs, preventative maintenance, and follow-up inspections.
  • Respond promptly to resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests, providing professional and effective resolutions.
  • Assist residents with package handling, key management, fob programming, resident move-ins and move-outs, and general building inquiries.
  • Maintain building records, resident files, maintenance logs, incident reports, and other administrative documentation.
  • Monitor building security by controlling access, responding to alarms, and reporting security concerns.
  • Respond to emergencies by following company procedures, contacting emergency services when required, and communicating with residents and management.
  • Ensure common areas, amenities, mechanical rooms, and building facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Work closely with the Operations team and Property Managers to ensure seamless building operations across multiple sites.
  • Complete additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to cover last-minute assignments on short notice.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience as a Building Manager experience is a strong asset.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software, and mobile applications.
  • Experience with minor plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, painting, drywall repairs, and general maintenance tasks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical rooms, building systems, and preventative maintenance is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple buildings throughout the Lower Mainland.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with building amenities, including swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs, is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Shift Times: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Compensation: $45 000 - $48 000

Locations: Multiple residential properties throughout Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, White Rock, and surrounding areas. Please note that this position requires travelling to different buildings and work locations as operational needs arise.
