The ideal candidate will have experience performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative services while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting ABM Industries’ standards for quality, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance: Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, ensuring they function efficiently and reliably.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of building systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with building systems and equipment, responding quickly to emergencies and minimizing disruptions to building operations.
  • Energy Management: Monitor and manage energy consumption to ensure efficient operation of all systems and identify opportunities for energy savings.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all building systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards.
  • Building Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the building's mechanical rooms, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
