Job description

Responsible for managing and optimizing physical infrastructure.  Will assess facility requirements, design operational systems and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure a safe and cost-effective work environment.

Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for critical systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
 
Identify and implement energy-saving and sustainability programs to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
 
Lead facility reconfiguration, upgrades, renovations, layout alterations, equipment installations and other engineering projects from initial design and cost estimation through design managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
 
Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for specialized maintenance and construction tasks.
 
Provide engineering expertise for troubleshooting complex equipment failures and infrastructure issues.
 
Maintain and calibrate environmental controls, such as temperature, humidity and airflow, for cleanrooms and specialized production areas to meet aerospace quality standards.
 
Support Environmental Health and Safety programs.
 
Other duties as assigned.

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
    
       
Field of Study/Area of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in facilities management or engineering
