Building EngineerJoin a Team That Keeps Commercial Facilities Running at Their Best

We're seeking a skilled Building Engineer with strong commercial HVAC experience and a broad maintenance background. In this role, you'll support a variety of commercial properties, ensuring building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment, solving problems, and working on a wide range of building systems, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial building systems

  • Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment

  • Maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems

  • Complete repairs to lighting, doors, walls, flooring, roofing, and other building components

  • Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls

  • Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues before they become costly repairs

  • Update work orders in real time using a CMMS, such as Corrigo

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and submit required documentation

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies when required

What We're Looking For
  • At least 4 years of commercial building engineering or maintenance experience

  • Strong commercial HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience

  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems

  • Experience maintaining commercial refrigeration is a plus

  • Universal EPA Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire

  • Experience using CMMS/work order systems preferred

  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Trade school or documented apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical systems is a plus

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
