Overview
Presbyterian Homes & Services - Lake Minnetonka Shores is seeking an Engineer Technician for our team. The Engineer Technician is a mid-level maintenance/engineering position that is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
SCHEDULE/HOURS: Mon-Fri 7 week rotation for weekends. 10am-630pm with the ability to flex shift 11am-730pm
REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Engineer Technician reports to the Environmental Services Director.
WAGE SCALE DEPENDING ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: $20.22-$25.69

Responsibilities
Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds as defined by the site leadership to include:
  • Completion of daily work orders
  • Building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
  • Building and Equipment repair
  • Participate in life safety compliance routines
  • Painting
  • Apartment turns
  • Building maintenance
  • Customer requests
  • Snow removal
  • Pool care
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Level II core competencies specific to job as defined by site requirements.
  • Able to work independently, multi task, follow directions and work under supervision.
  • Relate well to and provide a professional image and services to all customers.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $20.22 - $24.92 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS's typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee's qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
