Xtreme Cubes in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking Designers to join our team!

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Designer is responsible for creating designs of modular building structures using computer software and other tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create 3D renderings, site plans, floor plans, elevations, and detailed building layouts using CADD (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) software.
  • Ensure all designs conform to local building codes, zoning bylaws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare construction documents, project specifications, and material selections (e.g., lighting, flooring, fixtures).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other designers to ensure design feasibility and structural integrity.
  • As needed, meet with clients to discuss project requirements, design ideas, budgets, and timelines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency with Revit by Autodesk required.
  • Experience in commercial, multi-family/hotel, restaurant, office and residential design preferred.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with a team of engineers, architects and other designers.
  • Undergraduate coursework in engineering, drafting or related field a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • For Full-Time employees, expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends if necessary.
  • Reliably commute to Henderson, Nevada, or planning to relocate to local area before starting work.
