Job Summary:

Seeking an Architectural Design Engineer to design customized data centers, power modules, telecom facilities, and industrial buildings. The role involves creating architectural layouts, ensuring compliance with building codes, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and supporting project execution from design through installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs for data centers, telecom facilities, and power modules.
  • Prepare schematic, detailed, and construction drawing packages.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, state, federal, and international building codes.
  • Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, mechanical, electrical, thermal, and controls engineering teams.
  • Design architectural components such as doors, wall penetrations, flashing, sealing, and water mitigation systems.
  • Review and approve architectural material specifications and product submittals.
  • Support project scope definition and provide technical guidance during construction.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and fabrication teams.
  • Conduct design reviews, quality audits, and workmanship evaluations at manufacturing facilities.
  • Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving architectural issues during project execution.
  • Recommend innovative design solutions that improve quality and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of architectural engineering or building design experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
  • Knowledge of local, state, national, and international building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with customers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus.
