Custodian – Full Time

River City One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating, Baton Rouge’s oldest and most trusted HVAC company since 1980, is moving into a brand-new 10,000 sq. ft. facility and looking for a dedicated Full-time Custodian to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • General cleaning and upkeep of offices, hallways, and common areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Emptying trash and recycling bins
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, showers, and locker areas
  • Cleaning kitchen and breakroom areas, including appliances and counters
  • Window washing and glass cleaning (interior & exterior as needed)
  • Power washing the building exterior and walkways
  • Dusting surfaces, blinds, and vents
  • Maintaining and sanitizing the gym room and fitness equipment
  • Monitoring and restocking, cleaning, and bathroom supplies
  • Light maintenance tasks as needed
  • Supporting clerical/front desk duties when workload is light (answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, etc.)
Qualifications

  • Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and carrying supplies
  • Comfortable working independently and managing tasks efficiently
