Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to implement and maintain Building Automation Systems, specifically Siemens systems, on-site at their facility. The primary focus will be managing HVAC Equipment, Air Handlers, Exhaust Systems, Boilers, Chillers, and more.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain Siemens PCS7, Siemens Desigo CC, and Siemens PX controllers for Building Automation Systems.
  • Manage HVAC Equipment, including Air Handlers, Exhaust Systems, Boilers, and Chillers.
  • Ensure consistent system implementation and maintenance at the site.

Qualifications
  • BS Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Pharma or Food industry.
  • Strong expertise in Building Automation, Process Control Systems, Utilities, and HVAC Infrastructure (Siemens).
  • Preferred: Water For Injection (WFI) experience and Cleanroom / Aseptic Pharma experience.

Additional Requirements
  • Work schedule: 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential future on-call duties.
  • 100% on-site position starting in Skokie, later based in Des Plaines.
  • Travel required to Germany Headquarters for training, necessitating a valid passport within six months of hire.
