Department OverviewAutomation System Support - Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Job Description

Maintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial and commercial settings

  • Provide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and escalate any unresolved issues to management and engineering teams
  • Utilize advance technical knowledge to perform tests and analysis of complex hardware problems
  • Perform automation system maintenance according to the schedule and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation
  • Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality as specified in the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation
  • Perform diagnosis of the various automation control systems using diagrams, schematics, manuals and other documentation provided by the manufacturer
  • Troubleshoot non-functioning components including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, pneumatic devices and other vital technology
  • Install, configure and commission new installs (including hardware upgrades) of robotic systems and production equipment as needed
  • Perform specific automation programing tasks and other services relating to the upkeep of the production equipment
  • Collect and record data in the designated database regarding root cause analysis, corrective actions, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
  • Monitor process for evaluating and implementing process improvements, assist engineering teams with process changes
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with production, quality, engineering and management personnel
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the training, work procedures, and safety instructions to ensure satisfactory EHS performance
  • Assists operators in machine configurations, fixture set-ups and adjustments as required
  • Flexibility to work holidays and weekends occasionally

Target Base Salary Range: $50,100- $83,600
