Duties

  • Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns, to identify their insurance needs and present suitable options.
  • Conduct retail sales consultations, explaining policy features clearly and confidently to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate coverage plans tailored to individual circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Valid state license as an Independent Insurance Agent with appropriate certifications for selling insurance products.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse client populations.
