Job description

Quality Support, Inc. is recruiting System/AI Engineers with 10+ years of related experience in submarine electronic subsystem requirements, development, testing, building, maintaining, and troubleshooting AI infrastructure. In this role you will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding AI infrastructure. Working alongside senior engineers, you will ensure the highest levels of system availability, performance, and security while focusing on system lifecycles, infrastructure optimization, and technical leadership. You will serve as a senior technical authority, ensuring the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security across enterprise systems. Preferred Virginia Class Submarine Program and/or Columbia Class Submarine Program background/experience but not required. Secret and Top-Secret clearances required. Must be a US Citizen.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the systems engineering lifecycle, from user requirement gathering and system architecture to operational transition.
  • Administer, optimize, and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Design and implement automation and DevOps solutions, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Configuration as Code (Ansible).
  • Manage containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
  • Develop scripting solutions (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Deep knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and secrets management.

  • Ten plus years of experience in systems administration or engineering
