Location: This role is based out of our Grafton, WI office.
Project Coverage: Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay metro areas.
Job Type: Full-Time.

Position Overview
We are seeking an HVAC Project Manager to manage mechanical construction projects from handoff through closeout. This role is responsible for schedule coordination, cost control, field coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
Responsibilities
  • Manage HVAC construction projects from pre-construction handoff through project closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, material movement and labor.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams on design-build and design-assist projects.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and regular coordination meetings.
  • Conduct periodic job site visits to monitor progress, verify installations comply with plans, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Track job costs, forecasts, and project profitability.
  • Prepare, price, and manage change orders.
  • Coordinate field supervision and internal resources to support project execution.
  • Ensure work complies with contract documents, mechanical codes, and company standards.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Organize and maintain project folders and operational Software (BuildOps).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, as-builts, and closeout documentation.
  • Support inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
  • Train and guide junior project managers.

Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year(s) of construction project management experience in HVAC, mechanical, or related trades.
  • Experience managing projects in the $500Kโ€“$5M+ range.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical construction practices.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with multi-family, commercial, Kโ€“12, municipal, or hospitality projects is appreciated.
  • Experience with public-sector and prevailing wage projects is a plus.
  • Design-build or design-assist experience is appreciated.
  • PMP, LEED, or similar certifications is a plus.
