Webasto is Searching for a Regional Sales Manager - Upper Midwest Region- Aftermarket Truck/Off Highway/Upfitters and Bodybuilders. Candidates should reside in Minnesota, Illinois or Wisconsin.
Position Summary: This job is responsible for nurturing and growing revenue with designated existing customers and growth of new customers in the assigned sales region, the upper midwest. It is responsible for achieving commercial goals with the customer and for developing and maintaining sustainable customer relationships within the aftermarket field. Candidates should reside in Minnesota, Illinois, or Wisconsin.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Retaining and strengthening customer relationships, mainly driven from a commercial perspective
  2. Customer relationship management for existing and new customers
  3. Identifying and realizing opportunities and growth trends and acting as market interface for Webasto
  4. Input for sales planning and a close alignment with customer specific KPI's
  5. Securing profitable growth within dedicated markets and product domains
  6. Maintaining sales tools and records such as CRM
  7. Prospecting and closing new business opportunities
  8. Ability to present in a group setting in person and virtually

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent work related job experience.
5+ years prior experience in selling technical products within the North American Truck and/or Bus and/or Construction equipment Industry. Training and or experience that provides this knowledge, skill and ability is preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
Knowledge and proficiency of:
  1. Relevant experience (min. 5 years) working within one or more of the following industries:
    1. Heavy Duty (truck, oil and gas, mining, etc.)
    2. Medium Duty (upfitting/bodybuilders, dealer installers, etc.)
  2. Experience with fuel operated heaters and vehicle HVAC systems preferred
  3. Proven track record prospecting and gaining new business.
  4. Good organizational skills, able to work independently and in a team.
  5. Good people and communication skills internally and externally.
  6. Willing to travel on a regular basis.
  7. Good PC skills using Office programs.

  1. Analyze information
  2. Collaborate with other departments
  3. Effectively manage a multi-state territory including efficiently planning travel
  4. Manage expense reports
  5. Budget and forecast
