Job description

We are looking for a motivated Rental Agent to join our team in Grand Island. As a part of this role, you will handle reservations, conduct vehicle inspections, and prepare cars for rental. We prefer candidates with open availability to cover day and evening shifts, weekdays and weekend shifts, but hours are from 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday.


Budget fosters a team-oriented and collaborative culture that recognizes and rewards individual contributions. Rental Agents have the opportunity to earn up to $20 per hour after commission. Our comprehensive benefits package includes PTO, sick time, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid holidays, and holiday pay.


Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Engage in sales activities and inform customers about product features and options
  • Process vehicle exchanges and rental extensions efficiently
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for any new damage
  • Report identified damages to the on-duty supervisor immediately
  • Scan returning vehicles back into the system accurately
  • Generate and provide computerized receipts to customers
  • Stay current on company policies, procedures, training updates, pricing, promotions, and guidelines
  • Foster a supportive team environment by assisting fellow agents and other departments as required


Requirements


High School Diploma or equivalent

1 year of customer service experience

Professional communication skills

Problem resolution experience

Minimum age of 18

Valid driver's license

Clean driving record
