Job description

DCS is seeking a mid-level Budget Analyst with strong Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) experience to support a fast-paced program office supporting an Army Aviation project management office. In this role, you'll execute financial transactions, provide budget formulation and execution data, assist with budget and finance functions, and translate complex financial data and forecasts into clear, decision-ready cost analyses.

This is a full-time, onsite position.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides general Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system knowledge and "hands on" experience using tools such as General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Program Management and Resourcing Tool (PMRT), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) too, and other software/databases or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

Executes budget formulation and execution actions across an entire portfolio.

Performs program budget activities and schedule.

Performs financial and status reporting of the PMO budget. 

Assists in analyzing and resolving issues related to SAP Financials and Asset Management related to GFEBS transaction codes.

Prepares Work Breakdown Structure, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 8 years of experience or Master's degree and 6 years of experience.

Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

High-level proficiency in the use of  GFEBS and other SAP and ERP systems.

Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Proactive, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
