For this role, we need candidates with 9+ years of experience only.


Position Description: 

    

This position will be part of the ENTERPRISE SAP PLATFORM API Enablement (Interface objects) and Enhancement product teams (Enhancements, Forms, Workflow, Reports) in the Enterprise Architecture – Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services.

Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.

6+ years in IT;

4+ years in development

Additional Experience Preferred:              

•             5+ years of experience with SAP ABAP programming in S4 HANA

•             Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle S/4 implementations experience

•             Experience with programming in ABAP 7.4 and above, RICEFW development, CDS Views, AMDP, DDIC, UI5/Fiori, ODATA, Java scripting

•             Problem solving and debugging skills

•             Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams

•             Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)

Strong SAP ABAP development experience with expertise in ABAP 7.4+, OOPS, OData Services, BRF+, and SAP upgrade projects.

Design and develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows).

Build and support integrations between SAP and Non-SAP systems using RFC, ALE/IDocs, Web Services, Proxies, APIs, SOAP, REST, OData, XML, and JSON.

Develop and maintain CDS Views and AMDP classes for S/4HANA solutions.

Extensive experience with enhancement frameworks including BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and S/4HANA In-App Extensibility.

Design and develop SAPScript, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and S/4HANA Output Management solutions.

Configure, develop, and enhance S/4HANA Flexible Workflows.

Manage end-to-end API lifecycle including design, development, security, publishing, monitoring, and consumption through API gateways such as Apigee.

Gather business requirements and deliver scalable API solutions integrating upstream and downstream enterprise applications.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and application teams to design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Enable interoperability by integrating and orchestrating services from multiple heterogeneous systems.

Extend solutions for mobile, offline, and integration use cases.

Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to development standards, and drive technical quality throughout the SDLC.
