Job Description
The Accounting Tech is responsible for managing accounts receivables for BTCS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process deposits
  • Generate and submit invoices to customers
  • Record invoices in the accounts receivable system
  • Record and reconcile customer payments
  • Monitor and reconcile daily payment batches with accounting records
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments and correspondence
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and financial audits

This position may also act as a backup for accounts payable duties
Location: Remote in Round Rock, TX
Hourly Salary Range: $17.85 - $20.85
Differential Detail:
  • $1.00/hour, two years previous experience in a similar position
  • $1.00/hour, tenure with BTCS
  • $1.00/hour, BTCS Career Ladder Specialty

City Round Rock, TX County Williamson County Credentials Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience with accounting responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous accounts receivable experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word and Outlook.
