We are seeking dependable, professional, and highly motivated Armed Security Officers to provide security services at a City of Los Angeles.

This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and public property. Officers must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and the ability to respond confidently in high-responsibility situations.

Position Requirements
Required Certifications & Licenses

Applicants must possess current and valid:

California Guard Card
Exposed Firearm Permit
Baton Permit
OC/Pepper Spray Permit
CPR/First Aid Certification
Preferred Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in:

Armed Security
Key Responsibilities
Conduct armed patrols of assigned areas to identify and prevent safety or security risks
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and security equipment
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports
Control and document visitor access while maintaining facility logs
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary
Maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, and the public
Enforce site policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service
Carry and properly maintain authorized lethal and less-lethal defensive equipment
Follow post orders and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
