Bsc Nurse Jobs (NOW HIRING)

NLP serves 479 households in Allegheny County with a goal of supporting them in achieving housing stability. We are a multidisciplinary team that supports individuals in exiting the homeless system and stabilizing life domains while working toward greater housing independence.

The Purpose of this position is to provide grant coordination and direct support to NLP Supervisors and Program Director. This support will focus on actions that will improve grant benchmark outcomes annually as well as the care provided to program participants. The program coordinator will assist BSCs and SCs in monitoring their performance related to the quality of services provided and will lead a team of Data Coordinators and Housing Specialists in that pursuit. The program coordinator will lead the program to a constant state of readiness for any quality or regulatory audit of the program.
Responsibilities:

• Supports actions of all BSC supervisors and NLP Program Supervisors ongoing to assist with their teams' preparedness for a quality or regulatory audit.
• Oversee the payments of rents and utilities of participants and landlords in accordance with HUD regulations
• Monitors the capacity and census of grants ongoing
• Supervise a team of Data Coordinators and Housing Specialists
• Position requires an awareness of Blended Service Coordination State and County Regulations and subsequent bulletins as well as HUD regulations
• Responsible for management and monitoring of outcomes as it relates to HUD benchmarks
• Identifies both clinical and non-clinical needs or problems and takes necessary action to correct same.
• Demonstrates efficient, articulate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Position requires awareness of all policies and procedural guidelines related to HUD and BSC
• Position requires support to team Supervisors to create a positive environment in weekly team meetings that fosters excellence and innovation.
• Completes other job responsibilities as identified by NLP Director
• Reviews successes and challenges related to staff and leadership use of medical record system to maintain records appropriately and to ensure that the quality of the work is reflected in a way that will meet regulatory and quality standards during audits.
• Demonstrates a system perspective in managing day-to-day activities of the NLP program

• Bachelor's degree in human service field with 5 years of supervisory experience and 7 years of clinical experience required

OR

• Master's degree in human service field with 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of clinical experience required.

• Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process required.

• Maintains all mandatory annual trainings and competencies.

• Participates with supervisor to identify program design and process needs.

• Participates in on-going staff development activities.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
