What You'll Do:

BSA is seeking an experienced and licensed architect to join our team as the Director of Learning & Discovery Planning. This role is crucial for leading the initial planning phases of our projects, ensuring that we are positioned as industry leaders and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning Leadership

  • Lead the upfront planning and programming efforts for projects in the learning and discovery sectors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into strategic facility plans.
  • Guide project teams in developing innovative solutions that align with client goals and industry standards.

Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term success and repeat business.
  • Conduct presentations and workshops to engage clients and stakeholders in the planning process.

Project Management and Coordination

  • Oversee the development of master plans, feasibility studies, and space programming.

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Teams environment, including Co-Pilot, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Large Language Models (LLM's), familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint preferred; Architecture CAD, Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam; Graphic Software: InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other transformative design tools.
