Job description

Technical Quality Specialist

Job Duties:

  • Software review and reporting Retrieve data from databases (Oracle) to validate testing efforts.
  • Documentation of test results.
  • Communication of changes and defects.
  • Assist in post-production implementation testing.
  • Test scenario/plan development based upon user requirements.
  • Application test case development.
  • Requirement mapping to test cases - requirement
  • trace matrix.
  • Work with customer and developers to design application changes.
  • Ability to work on multiple test projects simultaneously Build internal documentation for use in knowledge transfer activities.
  • Test results review and sign-off.
  • Document procedures to standardize and
  • maintain process controls.
  • Follow the highest ethical standards in all business and professional activities.
  • Participation in the testing and documentation of FDA validated systems and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
  • Ability to plan and execute integration testing with the customer to ensure functional and non- functional business and system specications are met.
  • Identify potential gap analysis of customer specs vs system design.
  • This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live withina 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 5 years of testing experience. As an equivalent alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of testing experience.

The position requires experience with:

  • Manual testing experience.
  • Past experience working in a process driven environment.
  • Experience processing interface les in XML and EDI format.
  • Experience in SQL query construction with or without an editor Oracle database exposure, knowledge of data base tables and able to retrieve data from databases (Oracle) to create testing reports.
  • Experience in processing interface files in XML, JSON & EDI format and validate the transactions during integration testing.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse management solutions (WMS) like Manhattan or JDA.
  • Forward and Reverse logistics operation experience.

*Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.*
