Position Summary:

The IT Asset Administrator maintains software and hardware license compliance and performs regular license audits, minimizing organizational cost through product standardization, license harvesting and tracking. They will understand software license models, perform contract renewals, reviews and vendor negotiations.

What you will do:
  • Participate in creation of asset management tools, standards and processes.
  • Maintain license audit schedule and perform regular internal license audits as well as externally requested software audits.
  • Provide licensing guidance to Gordon Food Service managers (project managers, team manager, directors, etc.) regarding implementation of new systems, integration of acquired systems, and changes to other existing systems and usage affecting licensing.
  • Review existing contracts to provide guidance and understanding to Gordon Food Service managers.
  • Review new contracts to provide input prior to signature.
  • Provide input for budgeting of renewals, new support contracts and subscription agreements.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations; responsible for tracking and maintaining vendor performance.
  • Review quotes, PO’s and invoices for accuracy; create and submit PO’s to vendors on a timely basis.
  • Manage hardware and software support renewals.
  • Produce required asset management and IT financial reporting in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
When you will work:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Wyoming, MI with 1 day remote.

What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field preferred.
  • Two years previous Asset Administration software experience strongly preferred.
  • ServiceNow Software Asset Management experience is preferred.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
