Job Summary:
Link Solutions, Inc. delivers reliable IT services to government clients and is seeking a Senior-Level Network Administrator to join their team in Clarksburg, WV. The role involves providing IT support, ensuring uninterrupted operations of Army Information Technology Portfolio systems, and maintaining network infrastructure security and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Manage network performance and proactively maintain security protocols.
• Configure, install, and maintain Layer 2/3 switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, encryption devices, and telecommunication systems.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across a variety of devices and configurations.
• Implement and enforce information security procedures in compliance with organizational policies.
• Configure routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and manage IPv4/IPv6-based networks.
• Set up and manage IPSec tunnels, 802.1x, and 802.11 LAN/MAN environments.
• Define and enforce network policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Train users in network operations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Security Clearance required
• Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
• US citizen
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret DoD clearance.
• Must have five (5+) years of relevant experience working in a networking environment.
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
• Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions.
• Working knowledge of routing protocols (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), multicast), VoIP solutions, and cabling services.
Preferred:
• MS or BA/BS in computer science or information technology.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
• A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
• Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
