Overview
Position Summary
The Lead Consultant serves as the strategic owner for assigned Oracle Cloud FIN module(s), partnering with business leaders to align system capabilities with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Own module strategy, roadmap, and change management.
• Partner with Finance leaders to translate business needs into scalable Oracle solutions.
• Lead quarterly update adoption and regression testing strategy.
• Mentor junior consultants and set functional best practices.
• Drive module-related cross-functional projects, cyclical process, and enhancements.
• Provide Level 2+ functional support and escalations for assigned module(s).
• Provide input into reporting and analytic needs based on FIN data and processes.
• Engage in Oracle and industry communities and leverage available training, documentation, and forums to share ideas and increase working knowledge. Influence Oracle roadmap by submitting and voting on ideas.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience 5+ years in Financial systems leadership, with deep Oracle Cloud FIN experience in assigned module(s) or 3+ years Oracle Cloud FIN experience in assigned module(s).
3+ years Oracle Cloud FIN experience in assigned module(s) preferred.
Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or healthcare or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, computer science, or healthcare or equivalent experience.
Skills Subject matter expert in assigned module(s).
Proven history leading module ownership and projects.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Strong skillset in business analysis and Agile methodology, with a focus on driving iterative improvements and stakeholder value.
Proven experience leading and contributing to cross-functional projects.
Experience planning, executing, and supporting unit, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality, quality, and alignment with business requirements.
Licensure Oracle Cloud FIN Certifications preferred
