Job Description

Responsibilities

 

Project planning

  • Collaborate with client sponsors and stakeholders to define scope and ensure that deliverables are prioritized and aligned with the agreed scope
  • Create project charter and plan (Tasks, Schedule, Budget, Dependencies)

 Project execution

  • Track overall progress of project to verify that SDLC processes are occurring and Project artifacts are being created, reviewed as approved as required
  • Coordinate and monitor all project activities
  • Manage time, cost and scope through to implementation
  • Identify, monitor and mitigate risks
  • Identify, document, assign, track and resolve issues
  • Coordinate adjustments to project plan as needed and take appropriate corrective actions

 Communication

  • Ensure that expectations of client sponsors and stakeholders are well managed
  • Plan, facilitate, conduct and participate in various project meetings with clients and/or team members as well as internal C2 management
  • Manage dependencies as needed

 Change control

  • Ensure that change control processes are defined, followed and updated based on approved changes

 Resource management

  • Assist in assembling the project team
  • Ensure team members and participants (internal & external) understand their roles, responsibilities, and deliverables schedules
  • Lead and mentor team members
  • Provide feedback to functional managers, as appropriate
  • Support other team members, as needed

 Required Education & Experience

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver e-commerce development projects
  • Strong leadership project management skills, including:

                  -project planning and execution

                  -Issue and scope management

                  -resource motivation and management

  • Experience with MS technologies & MS Office Suite (Project, Visio & Powerpoint)
  • 8-10 years professional services experience
  • Contextual understanding of technical architecture and development of large scale systems
    • Structured SDLC and software delivery methodology experience
    • Demonstrated experience facilitating sessions with a cross functional audience
    • Demonstrated experience and understanding of multi-channel distribution & B2C eCommerce business models
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, MIS, electrical engineering)
