About Little Hen

Little Hen is a stylish, high-volume brunch restaurant known for beautiful food, specialty coffee, brunch cocktails, and warm hospitality. We are opening our Fort Lauderdale location and are looking for experienced Baristas / Bartenders to join our opening team.

This position requires strong coffee skills, cocktail knowledge, speed, organization, and excellent guest service.


Position: Barista / Bartender

The Barista / Bartender is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee drinks, executing latte art, making brunch cocktails, maintaining the bar area, and supporting a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare espresso drinks, teas, matcha, lattes, and specialty beverages according to Little Hen standards
  • Create consistent latte art — required for this position
  • Prepare brunch cocktails, mimosas, champagne cocktails, and other bar beverages
  • Follow recipes, measurements, and presentation standards
  • Maintain speed and quality during high-volume brunch service
  • Keep the coffee/bar station clean, stocked, and organized
  • Follow proper labeling, dating, FIFO, and sanitation procedures
  • Check glassware, garnishes, syrups, juices, and bar prep before service
  • Communicate with servers, managers, and kitchen during service
  • Provide friendly and professional guest service at the bar
  • Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties

Requirements
  • Previous barista experience required
  • Latte art experience is a must
  • Bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and beverage presentation
  • Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and milk steaming
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must be available weekends and holidays
  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Responsible vendor/alcohol certification preferred
