HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Associate Technical Designer role is an individual contributor position responsible to support the development of a specific category while staying aligned with business calendar deadlines. Guided by experienced leadership, this position offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and refine your skills under the mentorship of Technical Design leadership and is based in our Buckhead office.
60%: Technical Product Development:
- Develop and maintain detailed tech packs to guide product execution
- Apply basic knowledge of grading, patternmaking, and construction methods to ensure product quality and price/value alignment
- Manage deliverables proactively under the mentorship of leadership
- Utilize a foundational understanding of fabrics and ensure proper application based on product needs
25%: Cross-Functional Collaboration + Trend Alignment:
- Partner with cross-functional teams (design, production, and sourcing) to align on fit and construction
- Stay informed on market trends and interpret how they support seasonal strategies and brand vision
- Understand and translate design fit intentions into actionable solutions within the assigned product category
15%: Sample + Fit Analysis:
- Review samples to ensure products align with tech specifications and fit expectations
- Participate in fit sessions, providing clear and actionable feedback to influence decisions on fit integrity, manufacturing efficiency, and business goals
- Accurately document and communicate correction requirements for the assigned product category
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

- 2+ years industry experience in apparel Technical Design
- or 4+ Years Apparel Technical Design and Product Development Experience, associate degree - Related Field
- Basic understanding of grading, patternmaking and market trends
- Garment construction, fabric knowledge and general understanding of Fit to Fabric Performance
- Adobe Suite Software, including Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop
- Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Problem solving and adaptive to shifting business priorities
- Gerber Accumark 2D or equivalent patternmaking technology
- PLM Software
- Experience with 3D (CLO, Browzwear, Optitex-
