What You’ll Do

As a CNC Screw Machinist/Setup Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, ensuring high-quality, precision parts are manufactured efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation & Setup: Operate and set up one or more CNC-controlled Swiss turning centers.
  • Blueprint & Program Reading: Interpret blueprints, CNC programs, and engineering instructions to produce precision parts to specification.
  • Dimensional Accuracy: Maintain required dimensions, troubleshoot parts, and adjust programs and offsets as needed.
  • Tool Management: Identify and adjust tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Brown & Sharpe Machines: Willingness to learn or operate Brown and Sharpe cam-driven machines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support high production standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • ISO/AS9100 Compliance: Complete all training requirements and adhere to established procedures.
