Job description
- Location: Northern Ohio, on the shores of Lake Erie. Between Toledo (35 miles) and Cleveland (75 miles). Known for world class fishing, water sport, boating, kayaking, swimming, beaches, camping, hiking, countless foodie destinations.
- Setting: Inpatient Hospital
- Shifts: noon to noon 24 hr shifts, 12+ hours on 12 hours Call (on site sleeping arrangements and meals)
- Dates Needed:
- 8/17 - 8/23
- 11/21 - 11/28 (Thanksgiving)
- 12/21 - 12/28 (Christmas)
- Requirements:
- BE/BC IM/Hospitalist
- Active, clean OH License
- Clean DEA & NPDB (no current suits or unresolved cases)
- Must commit to minimum of one 4-7 day placement (can accept multiple providers to cover the shifts)
- Must be skilled at emergent intubations, vents, lines (must sign off that you are qualified & experienced)
- Must have ACLS certification
- Must have rigorous hospitalist experience and submit logs for previous 12 months showing at least a handful of the aforementioned emergent procedures.
- Must arrive early for 4 hr orientation (weekend-evening prior; weekday-morning of)
- Must be committed to small town, rural/remote and underserved populations
- Travel and lodging provided
- Malpractice Insurance provided
