Job Summary

Responsible for the execution of the HealthSpring strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention, and sales growth. This role drives profitable membership growth by developing and maintaining relationships with brokers, agencies, providers, community partners, and Centers of Influence, while executing local and national sales strategies across Medicare products. Responsibilities include recruiting and cultivating new agency partnerships, conducting sales presentations, planning and executing community and sales events, training agents and brokers, monitoring sales performance against goals, and leveraging Salesforce CRM, reporting tools, and data analysis to track activities, measure results, and identify growth opportunities. The role also supports lead management, business planning, brand promotion, and broker engagement efforts while ensuring compliance with CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and organizational policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience
  • OR Master Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience
  • OR 8 years health insurance sales experience
  • Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff
  • Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and Consumer Markets products

  • Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures · Customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred
  • Proven ability to foster and manage working relationships with Brokers and Providers to obtain buy-in and drive results.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM to track activities, outcomes, and key sales performance metrics.
  • Experience organizing events and delivering presentations to brokers, providers, and community groups.
