Rincon Broadcasting in Pasco is seeking a LOCAL SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE for digital and broadcast television marketing serving the Greater Yakima/Tri Cities market. 

Job Summary:

This position is ideal for revenue generators with a successful sales background who want to put their skill set to work developing ad sales for our broadcast stations and digital platforms. You’ll increase revenue on streaming, social and other digital opportunities as well as our five networks of CBS, FOX, Univision, Telemundo and CW. Express your creative side by developing impactful messages that increase your client’s success! 

Ideal candidates will be…knowledgeable, customer-focused and goal-oriented. Experienced sellers should have a successful, proven history of driving revenue growth. Strong decision making, communication and time management skills are imperative.

Description of Primary Duties:

  • Maintain passion and drive, and grow your skill set to prospect and develop new business and achieve revenue goals
  • Develop and manage revenue producing relationships with local businesses
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute customized advertising solutions using TV and Digital platforms
  • Provide excellent continued customer service
  • Meet and exceed sales goals while building a long-term book of business 

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Effective time management and oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, a competitive drive, and ambitious nature
  • Ability to develop relationships with both staff and clients
  • Advertising experience or a college degree are not required, but preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Vehicle required for outside sales meetings/calls

The base salary compensation range for this role is $30K to $35K per year plus commission plan. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, vacation time, and floating holidays.
