FOX13 Memphis is looking for a creative, driven, and digitally savvy Content Creator to help tell the stories that matter across broadcast, digital, streaming, and social media platforms. This position combines the skills of a visual storyteller and newsroom content coordinator, creating compelling content while helping drive daily news coverage from the field and the newsroom.

The ideal candidate is an excellent storyteller with strong news judgment who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll shoot and edit video along with creating digital and social content, collaborating with newsroom leadership to deliver accurate, engaging journalism across every platform.

What You'll Do

  • Create compelling video, digital, and social media content for broadcast, FOX13Memphis.com, streaming platforms, and social channels.
  • Shoot and edit high-quality video in the field, gathering video and sound for multiple platforms.
  • Write and publish accurate, engaging digital stories using AP style and SEO best practices.
  • Monitor scanners, social media, news wires, and community sources to identify breaking news and emerging story opportunities.
  • Assist with newsroom coordination by communicating story updates, helping prioritize coverage, and supporting daily editorial planning.
  • Work collaboratively with content team and newsroom managers to develop visually compelling and audience-focused stories.
  • Produce platform-specific content optimized for television, web, mobile, and social media audiences.
  • Maintain assigned cameras and editing equipment.
  • Follow journalistic ethics, newsroom policies, and safety standards while representing FOX13 professionally in the community.
  • Adapt quickly to breaking news and changing priorities while meeting multiple deadlines.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred.
