*This is a remote opportunity open to current college students enrolling in an internship course for college credit in NYC

Position Title: Public Relations Intern, NYC Office Hybrid Internship

Internship Term: Summer 2026

Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]

Desired Fields of Study: Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related fields

Hours Desired: 15-20/week (We are looking for the NYC intern to come to office 2 days per week)

A day in the life:

  • As a Public Relations Intern at Power Digital's NYC office, you'll assist in sample coordination, beauty closet organization, client status updates, media tracking, and coverage reporting. This hybrid internship requires previous PR or influencer relations experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. You'll work two days per week in the office, contributing to media and influencer lists, and social media monitoring for clients

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sample sends out of the NYC office
  • Organize the beauty closet for product send outs/mailers
  • Create labels for various product sendouts for clients
  • Keep client status grids up to date
  • Media tracking and clipping, as well as updating client coverage books
  • Monitor press coverage for different clients as well as flagging competitor coverage
  • Assist with coverage PA's/SMA's and monthly reports
  • Update and maintain media and influencer lists for clients
  • Flag any media coverage on social media for clients

Role Requirements:

  • Previous internship and/or professional experience (PR and/or Influencer specific experience is a plus!)
  • Understanding of media relations and the PR industry
  • Extreme attention to detailย 
  • Inherently organized and able to juggle multiple projects flawlessly
  • Proactive and team-orientedย 
  • Positive, can-do attitudeย 
  • An eagerness to learn and develop overall communications skills
  • Familiarity with PR processes
  • Exceptional communication skills
