About the Role

Quvia is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead the technical lifecycle of network and connectivity solutions for customers across the Energy & Shipping vertical in the US region. This is a customer-facing engineering role that blends deep technical expertise with commercial awareness, supporting the full solution lifecyclefrom requirements discovery, design, and proof of concept through deployment, validation, and post-implementation optimization.

You will serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Quvias products and network solutions. Working in close partnership with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, youll ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to each customers operational and business needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement and is motivated by bringing technically elegant, high-performance solutions to production.


What You'll Do

  • Lead all technical phases of the customer journey, including discovery, system design, deployment planning, and post-launch optimization.
  • Act as a senior technical advisor to customers and partners, architecting IP-based and satellite-enabled network solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth technology assessments, feasibility analyses, and proof-of-concept testing for proposed designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teamsSales, Product, Engineering, and Operationsto ensure solution integrity and seamless handoffs from design through execution.
  • Develop detailed technical documentation, design specifications, configuration guides, and performance evaluations.
  • Support deployments by providing technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and validation testing during implementation and go-live phases.
  • Analyze post-sales system performance data and customer feedback to identify optimization and future improvement opportunities.
  • Capture evolving technical requirements and field feedback to inform product roadmaps, network design refinements, and emerging technology adoption.
  • Participate in technical presentations, workshops, and customer training to build technical understanding and system adoption.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network infrastructure technologies, wireless communications, satellite systems, and IP networking best practices.


What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, or broadcast systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication systems, RF signal theory, IP network design, and traffic management (QoS).
  • Experience deploying or managing VSAT platforms, IP routing, and transmission technologies (unicast/multicast, VoIP, IPsec).
  • Familiarity with wireless communications systems including Wi-Fi and cellular architectures.
  • Proven experience across both pre- and post-sales technical activities, with direct ownership of system design, deployment, and performance outcomes.
  • Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, able to convey complex engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in multicultural, customer-facing environments, with the ability to travel up to 20% across the US.
  • High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset aimed at achieving long-term customer success.
