Job description

Associate Dentist - General Dentistry | Sarasota, FL
Full-Time | Monday - Thursday | Sarasota, Florida | PPO Practice | 5+ Years Experience Required
Are you an experienced general dentist ready to step into a high-autonomy role with a thriving patient base already waiting for you? P26 Dental Partnership Group is seeking a seasoned Associate Dentist to serve as the sole provider at our Sarasota PPO practice - with the full support of a strong, established clinical team behind you from day one.
This is a Monday through Thursday schedule - no weekends, no on-call. Just four focused days of quality dentistry in a practice that is already running well, with a team that knows how to take care of both patients and providers. For the right clinician, there is also a pathway to minority ownership down the road.
Why This Role Stands Out

  • Strong, long-tenured clinical team in place - experienced assistants, hygienists, and front desk staff who know the practice inside and out
  • Established patient base - walk in with a full schedule, not an empty book
  • Monday - Thursday schedule - built-in three-day weekends, every week
  • Full group practice support - billing, HR, compliance, and operations handled so you can focus on clinical care
  • Pathway to minority ownership - for the right candidate who builds roots in the practice
  • Competitive compensation with production upside
What You'll Do
  • Provide comprehensive general dentistry services including exams, restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care
  • Serve as the sole provider at the Sarasota location, exercising independent clinical judgment
  • Build and sustain strong patient relationships through education, comfort, and long-term treatment planning
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated, high-performing dental support team
  • Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation
  • Uphold clinical quality standards in partnership with P26's Clinical Directors
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain all required licensure and certifications
Qualifications
Required:
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active Florida dental license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
  • Broad scope of general dentistry services including restorative, endodontics, and oral surgery
Preferred:
  • Experience in a PPO insurance environment
  • Proficiency with digital dentistry and modern practice management systems
  • Track record of strong patient satisfaction and retention
  • Interest in long-term practice growth and potential ownership
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation - commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, vision, STD insurance
  • Malpractice/professional liability coverage
  • Continuing education reimbursement and licensure support
  • 401(k) with employer contribution
  • Pathway to minority ownership for the right long-term candidate
