Title:
Assistant Director – Preschool (Pearl Academy, Jacksonville)
Post:
We are seeking a strong, reliable Assistant Director to join our 5-star preschool team serving children ages 2.5–5.
This role supports daily operations, staff supervision, licensing compliance, and parent communication.
Responsibilities include:

  •  Supporting classroom operations and ratios 
  •  Assisting with staff scheduling and coverage 
  •  Ensuring DCF compliance 
  •  Communicating with parents via Brightwheel 
  •  Helping lead a positive, structured environment 
Requirements:

  •  Childcare leadership experience required 
  •  Knowledge of DCF regulations preferred 
  •  Professional, dependable, and team-oriented 
  • CDA of higher
  • Director's Credential preferred
  • VPK teaching experience preferred
Schedule: Full-time (open/close flexibility required)
