Job description

While much of our work involves travel-based roles, we also offer local assignments for those seeking opportunities closer to home.


Job Summary:


The Engineer supports the execution of specialized audit functions within the Worker's Compensation Insurance Audit team. This role focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant audit services while ensuring a high standard of professionalism and efficiency across diverse travel-based assignments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough audits of worker's compensation files, ensuring adherence to internal and external guidelines
  • Analyze documentation and payroll records to assess risk classifications and premium calculations
  • Review and verify client-submitted data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with audit standards
  • Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
  • Communicate directly with clients and internal teams to gather necessary documentation and clarify audit issues
  • Identify inconsistencies or anomalies in data that may indicate misclassification or potential fraud
  • Utilize audit tools and software to document findings and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state regulations and industry best practices during field or remote audits
